Star of the Week

Star of the Week - Mateo Munson

Congratulations to sophomore Mateo Munson on being named this week’s Star of the Week!

Mateo has been a leader for the Huskies baseball team both on the mound and at the plate. As the team’s ace pitcher, Mateo logged the most innings pitched, facing the toughest opponents. Last week he threw a great section game against Hill-Murray, allowing only two runs in a close loss.

On the year, Mateo struck out 56 batters while also hitting .353 at the plate and recording a .522 on-base percentage. He was named to the All-Conference Team for his efforts.

Congrats, Mateo!
