The health of our students and staff is our priority. This school year, we have utilized several mitigation strategies to ensure in-person learning can occur and reduce community transmission to help students and staff remain healthy. We continue to monitor our COVID cases among students and staff and adjust our mitigation strategies as necessary.
We are experiencing an increase in positive cases districtwide and are shifting our guidelines.
We are excited to announce the next principal of St. Anthony Village High School. Norman Bell has accepted the offer and will begin July 1, 2022. Superintendent Dr. Corneille shared, “Mr. Bell clearly articulated his purpose as a leader and believes all students can learn at high levels. Mr. Bell is focused on creating welcoming and inclusive schools for students and staff. I believe he is best qualified to help us achieve our success metrics. He brings a lot of energy and passion to this work.”
The purpose of this message is to announce our plan for all students to return to Wilshire Park Elementary School, St. Anthony Middle School, and St. Anthony Village High School, on Wednesday, Feb. 2. Also included are updated guidelines for the isolation of students and staff who test positive for COVID-19, and quarantine guidelines for students and staff who are considered a close contact.
One of the School Board goals in 2022 is focused on engagement and communication. In November, 2021, the School Board developed and sent a survey to seek feedback and input on our current engagement strategies.
